The Biggest Story Of All Time

Earlier this week as you may have heard, the sixth man to walk on the moon Edgar Mitchell disclosed to an audience on public radio that extraterrestrials exist and even went into descriptions of what they look like. The interview with the Apollo 14 veteran was quite lengthy but one standout quote should be spotlighted for attention, “I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomenon is real”. When i first heard this i didn’t absorb the enormity of what had been revealed and happily went about the daily grind at the office. But later on it dawned on me as to how credible this disclosure was! In fact, this is only one in a series of high profile disclosures.

“The Disclosure Project” is an organisation that has been around for some time headed up by US physician Dr. Stephen Greer. In July 2001 Greer held a press conference held by the National Press Club in which he stated that he was there to disclose the truth to the public about UFO’s and extraterrestrials. Amongst witnesses who spoke at the press conference were a former Major-General of the Russian Space Centre, a former major in the US Airforce and various former White House staffers and ex-FBI personnel. These people gave testimony relating to their participation in projects relating to recovered extraterrestrial aircraft and extraterrestrial humanoids. Amazingly such a groundbreaking press conference received almost no coverage in the mainstream media and within 2 months the 9/11 attacks had sufficiently erased any possibility of generating any more interest. One thing everyone must do after reading this is to jump onto You tube and enter “The Disclosure Project” and prepare to be blown away.

Numerous other high ranking military officials from countries such as Brazil, Mexico and others have come forward disclosing in detail what they know about the existence of UFO’s and extraterrestrials. Military footage from Mexico can now be viewed on the internet where you can view close encounters that have occurred at 12,000ft in high clarity.

I have always believed in extraterrestrial life however i have not been a big believer in the traditional humanoid image that represented it. However, events like this make you think a little more closely. The now cliched humanoid image of ET’s didn’t even exist prior to the first incident at Roswell, which leads me to believe the image was cultivated by eyewitness reports from that time. I think the truth will trickle out slowly in order to cushion the impact on the unassuming public. It’s very interesting to see how people would react, as proof of this would render the notion of God and many religions including Christianity, Judaism and Islam obsolete.

My 2 Cents on Peak Oil

In the Australian Media over the past few weeks there has been an uprising of angst built up amongst the population in regards to petrol prices and grocery prices. On “Your Say” and “Your Comments” boards across Ninemsn, News.com.au, Smh.com.au and others people are aligning themselves to the left or the right and are pointing the finger of blame directly at “That Bloody mongrel Howard” or “That show pony KRudd”. I don’t know whether these people are simply stupid and uneducated by choice or badluck. For the ones that are stupid by badluck such as having grown up in a welfare family being beaten across the head daily with a crack pipe, i am sorry. I am not having a go at you. But please let this sink in loud and clear: There are now too many people on the planet who need oil and there is not enough oil to go around. This causes prices to go up due to demand. We live in a global economy which has allowed us develop global trade with other countries which in turn has led to prosperous conditions for some time now. Of course, it does not work both ways and when problems arise in the Global Supply Chain it has a knock on effect and it is inevitable we will suffer. How can people expect the prime minister of a sparsley populated island country with small oil resources that cannot fullfill its own demand to have any power to control the global price! Howard and Rudd are both innocent on this charge – they cannot be blamed. The only change Rudd could make at this stage is a cut in fuel excise however this will surely lead to heavy tax increases elsewhere to make up the shortfall. Just remember, that excise is paying for your Baby-bonus, capital gains incentives for the investors among you, pharmacutical benefits, pensions, workcover allowances and so on. Also make note that a 5c cut in the fuel excise will be gobbled up within months by the increasing oil cost and the public will DEMAND more excise cuts and blood will flow if it doesnt happen.

But the main thing that irks me is that all of the focus is on petrol for the family car, or as Wayne Swan would say, The “Working Family” Car. To cut a long story short, life as we know it revolves around oil. Have you ever seen the poster of George W Bush with his mouth covered in oil and the slogan “Got Oil”? underneath it? If everyone had awareness on how much they rely on oil every day for EVERYTHING they would no doubt feel the same way as Georgie on that poster. Some of the biggest problems i believe are not related to fuel consumption, but getting used to so many things we take for granted becoming a luxury. Here is a tidy little list of the things made from oil that will at some point become prohibitivly expensive unless cheaper alternatives are found. Remember manufacuring and other industries and the cost implications associated with raw materials, not just the consumer products you buy at the grocers:

Anasthetics, Food Preservatives, Cortisone, Anti-histamines, Toothpaste, Antiseptics, Detergents, Cosmetics – (probably about 99% of what is in a female’s makeup cabinet is made from oil), Glues, Dyes, Telephones (including Mobiles), all manner of Food and Product packaging (e.g – plastic bottles), all Shampoos, Tyres, Cars and Car parts, Televisions, Radios, Computers, Refrigerators, Cameras, Candles, Dentures, Bandages, Boats, Sunglasses, Solvents, Paints.

This is a short list but to sum it up, if Oil demand was to push too high things such as Airtravel and Car travel would be a thing of the past, not to mention many other things including all forms of plastic. There are only two options to reverse this problem

1. Find More Oil so that we can supply the worlds thirst for it and drive the price down.

2. Find something that can sustituite the oil in all it’s diverse uses.

Now, please, stop blaming the politicians for the fucking petrol prices. It would be more constructive blaming Elvis Priesley’s mother for giving birth to him and thus leaving us at the mercy of thousands of impersonators of her son.

I Hate Music

I write music all the time. It is mostly instrumental music as i am a poor wordsmith and i couldnt have a voice with less character in it. As i struggle to piece together a fresh creation on my modest 8-track apparatus i am often cursing at myself. All the terrible, bland and unavoidable music i have heard on television, on the radio, out of people’s cars and at work has distorted my capacity to write anything but boring, cliched 3 chord pieces of shit – or worse still – another 12 bar blues variation. The songs are crowding my creative thinking processes. They tear out the soul of anything i put down to tape. I end up pushing for clinical perfection as opposed to emotional regurgitation. And i end up with a bland but precise 3 minute version of something that could have fallen off any of AC/DC’s twenty or so identical albums. Music is dead. I personally think, along with many others, that Music Television (MTV, Video Hits, V Channel etc) has destroyed the essence of music. If you disagree with me then go and fuck yourself. Wake up and smell the wafer thin slices of cynicism because i know i’m right on this one.

• 1. MUSIC IS MODELLING

Music is not Ashley Simpson wriggling around suggestivly covered in whipped cream beside a Mcmansion and a swimming pool. It is modelling set to a soundscape which is one of Warner Music’s In-house producers’ latest variation on track 10 from the last “Britney” album. Music is audio-sensory and should remain that way. Would Ashley’s music sell if she looked like a donut munching, out-of-work alcoholic former wrestler. Of course not. I wonder if the people who buy into this realise what a ride they are being taken on. I classify them as entertainment fans, but they are not MUSIC fans as they rely on the visual association to buy the music.

• 2. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ENTERTAINERS AND ARTISTS

An artist is somebody who creates or cultivates. Entertainment by defenition is an activity designed to provide pleasure or relaxation to a crowd. Of course, there is nothing wrong with being an entertainer in the musical sense but you cannot automaticaly define an entertainer as an artist! The music industry has been doing this for years and years and it is right up there with the worst real-estate sales speak. What they are doing is defining any pretty boy who gets a song written and recorded for him that he just has to sing over an artist. They are defining cover bands as artists. They are defining David Hasslehoff as an ARTIST! It is enough to ruin my day when Richard Wilkins pops up on the morning show to announce that 50 Cent has now broken a new sales record making him the most successful ever ‘recording artist’ in Guatemala.

• 3. MAJOR LABEL CONTRACTS

First of all, it is incredibly sad that four global corporations control the promotion and distrubution of over ninety per cent of music released today. I cant believe how many fucking brain dead people will criticise music by saying “I havent even heard of it”! or “It’s not even in the Top40″ or a complete classic i heard once: “I’m strictly a Top40 gal”. I felt like tearing her face off and feeding it to sewer rats. These four horsemen of the apocalypse (Warner Music, Sony BMG, Universal, EMI) are each run by a mixed band of former lawyers and investment bankers. The worst such case is with EMI, whom is now owned by Terra Firma Capital Partners, a private equity firm. In brief, due to lack of time and personal distress, a standard major record label contract specifies several things that contribute to the blandness of the situation today. Firstly, a new artist MUST use written material from the companies’ affliate publisher/s or contracted songwriters. Secondly, a new artist MUST use an in-house producer or affiliate producer. Thirdly, 99.9% of new contracts are ONE ALBUM DEALS. These ventures are cut down to their absolute minimum risk. I could go on forever on contracts and will do on a future post when i have more bile stored up.

• THE TECHNICAL STUFF

Amongst the most important things in these ventures is of course to ensure brief and economical recording time. How to achieve this? Well, first of all, consider a cover. It saves a lot of writing time and costs. But make sure it’s a classic hit from your own publishing house. I can imagine the boardroom meeting at SonyBMG – “Why send all those royalties over to Warner Publishing when you can double your money instantly with your own stock from the past 50 years?! Another great idea – electronic music! Everything can be sequenced and looped, saving valuable studio time and cost. In addition, we only need a synthesiser! Great! We can save money and time without hiring all those troublesome session musicians! Remember when we hired them last year? The bloody guitarist spent two hours of our time trying to perfect that bloody guitar solo. That was $250 of our studio money down the drain! What’s more, that producer we got there can play a bit of keyboard. Heck! We wont even need to hire a keyboard player! And that new Autotune thingy he has on his laptop means we only need Ms. Hilton to come in and kinda sing one or two takes and go home! Think of all the time and money that will save! Christmas bonus will be big this year folks……..”. Thats the gist of how it works. Music produced in this way can be almost anything – HipHop, Trance, Funk, Reggae, even Rock to an extent. It’s why everything sounds the same. It’s why recordings are now so tight-arse precise and have all the soul of a freshly installed urinal. It’s why major labels record so many covers. It’s why major labels sample and loop so many covers. It’s CHEAP TO MAKE and they can double dip with new publishing royalties from old covers. Can you see why i’m so pissed off?? I hope you are pissed off because you should be. People put a lot of emotional stock in their music and it cheapens everything significantly when you know the truth. This stuff only scratches the surface folks………… What to do about this? Simple – be cynical about the industry. All aspects of it. It all becomes so so so transparent and pathetic when you step back and take a good look. But dont be sad, there is good music to found out there. I hope to contribute in my own tiny way with my little independant 4 minute instrumentals

Camden – An Atheist’s Lament

Once again, racist Australia has reared its ugly head – this time in Camden. Camden itself is a fast growing outer south-western suburb of Sydney. Previously the domain of cattle farmers up until mid-last century, it has now evolved to become one of newest parts of Sydney’s metropolitan mass. The area around Camden is the home to many of Australia’s first ‘gated’ communities, which have sprung up over the past ten years to provide wealthy pensioners and young families a sanctuary where they don’t have to interact with society and can maintain their prejudeces and paranoias in gleeful abandon.

Several weeks ago, close to 2000 concerned anglo-saxon residents stormed the site of a proposed Islamic school in Camden. They waved Australian flags and vigourosly opposed the school. In the words of one protester, “We lit up the Christmas tree the other night, and that is something they wouldnt be into because they are anti-christian”. Case closed – they dont get emotionally stirred by a pine tree with a $20 set of lights wrapped around it. Off with their heads! Other comments aired included “THEY have bought land at Picton and Goulbourn as well – watch out Australia!” Within days after the large-scale protest, a sole christian cross was erected on the site bearing the inscription : “When the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will lift up a flag in victory”. As of today, this protesting has escalated, and hopefully climaxed, with the disgusting display on the site of two pig’s heads on stakes, draped in the Australian flag.

It would be wrong to single out the Christian community, as members of other religions such as Islam, Judaism and Hinduism among others have also launched racist tirades against others. However white Australians, though not always Christian, have been the most verbal. The recently departed federal government’s policies and stances on numerous issues over the past ten years have fostered continual racism and prejuduce against certain religious and ethnic groups (I doubt i need to re-elaborate for the millionth time which policies these were). We were already a racist nation, in general terms, prior to the Liberal party’s recent stint in government. After the fostering of racial distrust from the Howard government, we are in a worse state than we were in. We have gone backwards socially, to 1955 in fact, when we should have grown up and learnt some lessons. It is hard to comprehend how somebody who believes deeply in one book, can hate and distrust somebody so passionatley simply because they believe in another book. I direct the following to religious people (of ALL faiths) in Australia who hold onto these illogical views – see if you can ask yourselves these questions.

Why is your book correct and their book incorrect? Have you read religious text from the Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, Buddhist, Confuscian, Taoist, Shintoist, Universist, Scientologist, Baha’ist, Jain’ist, Paganist or Rastafarian holy books? If you haven’t, aren’t you just completley ignorant of everything but your own religion, with no basis for your hatred and distrust towards other religion? Why are they wrong and what exactly makes you right? Why do you hate and distrust somebody simply because of an inherited difference in skin pigmentation? If you truly believe and have ‘faith’ that you will go to your god’s brand of heaven eventually – and for eternity – who cares? How about leaving the rest of us to live a peaceful life.

This Must Be A Huge Joke

I don’t watch a whole lot of Television. But even so, i like to try to get an insight as to what is going on in the world, hopefully presented in a fair and unbiased manner (wishful thinking). So it really grinds my gears to have basically no option but to sit through crap current affairs shows. The closest thing we have to something decent is 60 Minutes, which can vary wildly in quality from week to week. But the biggest jokes on television are surely Anna Coren and Today Tonight.

Anna presents the show’s stories like a venemous, self-righteous hyper feminist. She repeatedly jumbles sentences up on the story introductions, which could be due to her being hopelessly out of her depth or maybe a faulty auto-cue screen. Me thinks both. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that the reason she is there must be due to some late night visits to Kerry Stokes’ luxury flat over the past couple of years. There are numerous competent female and male presenters to choose from yet she has still managed to cement her place on the chair.

What really takes the cake is the choice of story topic. The more important issues of the last few weeks, according to the team at Today Tonight, include

And on and in it goes. They even have a section on their website wholly devoted to “The Kick Start Diet” with numerous recently aired editorials on “The new GI diet” and “The return of carbs”. Maybe they should just rename the show Womens Weekly or New Idea.

The worst thing is they will actually spruik other Channel 7 shows at least three times a week. This is suppossed to be news and current affairs! The main culprits are Dancing with the Stars and the new Bingo show they have. What really rubs it in is that they devote not just a mention, but an ENTIRE editorial slot for it!

Jeezus Christ!

For the large portion of society that is bored of this pathetic programming there is another large portion that will watch it every day longing for a slim, perfectly tanned, carbohydrate free, low GI body without tuckshop arms or muffin tops – but unfortunatly they will more likely just suffer from anxiety disorders, celebrity obsessions, eating disorders or a self-confidence crisis. Can we have some sanity? They are hundreds – no – millions of more important, more interesting and engaging issues that should be presented. There are more important things in life than being “Bat Wing free in 90 days” and basing your clothing purchases on what Katie Holmes/Cruise is wearing…..

Conversation with a fundamentalist

The Following is a long debate of sorts that i had with a Christian Fundamentalist on a Sydney Morning Herald Blog. He had an odd ability to sidestep any of my questions and travel down another train of thought. As a result, i got pissed off and almost got as irrational as he did. Calls himself “G.Gibson” however i can’t help but think it could be Tony Abbott. All i will say before you read it is that HE started it – not me. Who wins? You decide.

Not all scoff at christian prophecy. One of the more powerful visions/prophecies comes from a lady pentecostal pastor from Mt. Isa QLD showing enemy partroopers coming down just north of the city and the roads clogged with people trying to escape, but they werent making it. The lady concerned, who received the vision, when she awoke she said The Lord spoke to her and simply said “TWO BABY GIRLS”. That very day two baby girls were born into her family. One two weeks late and the other the day she was due. As one event, the babies came to pass, she immediately figured that the other, the paratroopers, would also and she moved back into NSW with her whole family (even though The Lord hadnt set a date for the invasion). This revelation I sent to the Australian Defence Dept back in 1993 and received a reply from Brigadier Adrian D’Hage of public affairs saying that he had sent it onto intellegience for them to have a look at. Though the event of the paratroopers at Mt. Isa QLD has yet to happen, I still believe that the lady penetcostal pastor was given a genuine revelation of a future event. Its very frequent amongst the pentecostals…this receiving of visions about the future because they chase the Gifts of The Holy Spirit one of which is prophecy and revelations. In December, 2006 I left the Darling Downs region of QLD forever because of the number of revelations of this invader coming as far south as Byron Bay NSW. If youre thinking of moving to QLD, think again. There could be hundreds of revelations out there amongst the christian. I believe that tidal wave will hit Surfers Paradise too. Shes a very dark sinful place these days. I wouldnt even holiday there.

Ok G. Gibson. Because a group of pentecostals told you they heard the voice of god you moved out of QLD. And what about the woman from Mt ISA? How is that a bloody revelation? Surely the babies were expected as they dont gestate and pop out over a period of 2 weeks you moron! This paratrooper revelation happened prior to 1993 huh? It still hasnt happened has it? Even if this ‘vision’ had credibility there is no date given ( it may happen in 100 years from now rendering the move from QLD to NSW a farce ). G.Gibson, people such as yourself are dangerous. I bet, because you are obviously a christian of some denominaton, you speak out against fundamental islam yet you are the christian equivalent. Where is your logic and evidence for the occurance of these visions? How reliable and honest are those who say they had them? Where is the evidence for the existence of a God whether it be Zeus, Horus, Osiris, Allah or the Christian God?G.Gibson, if you can answer these questions with a valid response then PERHAPS you have the right to spread a little fear and paranoia.

You are wrong Mohawkman. A group of pentecostals did not tell me they heard from the voice of God. The revelations (visions and prophecies) are from all over the place from a period from 1975 to 1996. Some are in book form as is Pastor Jack Burrell’s WHAT WILL BECOME OF AUSTRALIA (a rare book these days but still many copies out there amongst the committed christians). They (the visions and prophecies) are all seperate from each other, given to different people at different times during this period. Not one person was connected in anyway to another. The Mt.Isa QLD paratroopers vision I got from the lady pastors daughter by tracking the daughter down. The lady pastor had already passed on to be with The Lord, so I contacted her daughter to see what she knew about the vision when I first heard there had been one. I moved out of QLD because I believe the invader will eventually own all of that State, for at least a while. No USA will be here to help in those days. God has a plan for America because of Americas sin. I wont say more here on this. Unless you want me to. Like just about all other christians I can see that the Bibles endtimes are coming soon. Jesus is speaking in Luke chapter 21 about a great increase in wars, earthquakes, famines and disease just before He gets back. Look…we are seeing these events happening right now. Its not a dream. Its Bible prophecy being fulfilled. We are also seeing the great crime mentioned in 2 Timothy chapter 3 as men degenerate into wild animnals. There are also stories in the media about the “mark” on either the right hand or forehead economy of Revelation 13:16-18 and 14:9-11 beginning to appear (we christians are forbidden to take this “mark”/microchip even if it goes global and we have to go underground. It is satan new system connected to the coming world antichrist, “the beast”). Its all happening Mohawkman. Just as the Bible said it would happen. Thats why your relationship to Jesus Christ is going to be so important. God doesnt Judge His Christ-believers like He Judges a fallen civilisation that is getting worse each day. You can join us Christians if you want to Mohawkman. We are the REAL power on earth because we have The Holy Spirit. Its not by our own strength that we are the TRUE believers… but by The Holy Spirit living inside of us. NO! other faith in all of the world has The Holy Spirit, Mohawkman. Thats why all other belief systems are false religions started by satan. Islam wants to kill to conquer. Christians just want to love and preach Jesus to this fallen world. I dont think it is extreme to leave QLD if I have collected so many revelations about an invader as far south as Byron Bay NSW. I think its wise. God bless. Love you pal. If you want a good church I recommend Assemblies of god, Christian Outreach Centres etc. Boy… the pentecostal churches sure are the liveliest churches in the land. In need? Ok, more tripe with no evidence. Once again, where do you stand on the following questions? :Where is your logic and evidence for the occurance of these visions? How reliable and honest are those individuals who say they had them? Where is the evidence for the existence of a God whether it be Zeus, Horus, Osiris, Allah or the Christian God?And WHY is your Religion the only one not to be the work of satan? How did you work that out? There are over 150 religions in this world, many of which far more peaceful histories than either Islam or Christianity. Isn’t this the exact attitude that causes disharmony, distrust and violence?As for your apocalyptic garbage regarding the ‘endtimes, keep in mind that the earth has always suffered from tidal waves, earthquakes, storms and what-have-you. There have always been violent natural events throughout the history of the earth – far more violent than in recent times. You only analyse the troubles in your time more feverently because you are here and part of it. As such, it means far more to you which amplifies your view of it.

My logic for the visions is that the endtimes are almost upon us (I gave you Luke chapter 21. Its also in Matthew chapter 24.); AND that these revelations are warnings sent to committed christians about coming events in the South Pacific region i.e. the invasion of Australia by a foreign army (probably China)…God allowing it because of the sins of the people (for what sin really is…read the Bible or click on sin). The evidence for these visions is in my collection of books written by recipients of visions and prophecies on an invader; and in the number of personal testimonies I have collected from RELIABLE christians who have also received them. I told you that the ONLY TRUE faith is Christianity because NO! other faith system has The Holy Spirit. Can you dig this Mohawkman? If you ask Jesus into your life sincerely you receive The Holy Spirit and you can feel Him Comforting you from inside. Buddha doesnt have the Holy Spirit, neither does Confuscius or Allah and his false prophet the murderer of men Mohammed or any other earthy religion or any other witchcraft incantations to a demon power. Only in Jesus is there The Holy Spirit! Christians will die for their faith in Jesus Christ (hundreds of millions of christian already have) because with The Holy Spirit they know the REAL TRUTH about the Holy Bible and God. You cannot get to God without Jesus in your life. There are two sides in the spirit world… ONLY two…God Who is Light and darkness. You dont get a third choice, though if man wants to believe unsubstantiated rubbish including evolution, karma, the tea leaves in the cup he will do it. Mans great problem is that he doesnt want to admit he is a sinner and open to Gods Judgment, which he is after death. Guilty as sin is every single man and woman on this spinning earth in space… because “all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God”…Romans 3:23. “All scripture is inspired by God”…2 Timothy 3:16. This last scripture you will realise is the truth when you invite Jesus into your life as your Saviour because you will receive THE HOLY SPIRIT! There have also been some major disasters throughout history but nothing like the Bibles endtimes events. Be patient and watch day by day as the events unfold. *A little additional: China wants to own us as NEW SOUTH CHINA and Indonesia wants to own us as SOUTH IRIAN. China today builds for the great outward march. All she had to do is get rid of the mighty US of A. She plans that too, so say some prophecies. With a little help from her buddies in Russia. The CIA knows all about these prophecies. Lets hope they pay attention. I guess you will have to just enter a relationship with Jesus Mohawkman to get to know Him further. NO OTHER FAITH SYSTEM HAS THE HOLY SPIRIT…thats the tremendous difference.

Ok, your logic for the visions is that “the endtimes are almost uopn us”. Does the Bible give a date or dates? Does the Bible mention China or Indonesia specifically? What are the Revelations based on? The New Testament was written hundereds of years after the death of the self-proclamied messiah (Jesus). Does this mean Revelations is relying on visions from a select few who walked the earth around the years 300-400AD? How reliable are any of these texts anyway? How close are they to the original texts? Are you really so naive as to believe you are reading word for word what was written almost 2000 years ago? How accurate can the information in Revelations be, given that thousands of editions have been published throughout all these years?The problem with religion at the end of the day is that it places way too much emphasis on Human beings being the centre of all existence. I hope you realise we are on the cusp of discovering life on new planets. This fact alone renders the Bible a farce. No doubt yourself and your merry band of fanatics will re-interprate Bible passages to your liking so as to “explain” any future events and occurances.You claim “No other faith system possesses the holy spirit”. Do we even have evidence a “Holy Spirit” exists? What is the basis of your claim anyway? Have you ever practiced or studied Judaism, Atheism, Greek Mythology, Buddism, Islam or any other religion? How can you be so quick to conclusion if you know nothing of these religions or their followers? You completely contradict yourself by typecasting Islam as violent and evil and then cause division and threats against these religions in the name of christianity! Hi Mohawkman. The Bible mentions China (as clear as anyone needs to see it written down) in Revelation 9:16 and 16:12 where it speaks about a 200million man army known as the “kings from the east” crossing asia towards Israel. Lets hope no southern movement on to Australia? Click on “kings from the east”. In 1963 Mao stated (Time magazine recording) that any day he wanted to he could put 200million soldiers into the field. Indonesia isnt mentioned in the Word though a good prophecy can be found by clicking on invasion of australia david kriss. The bible is reliable when you receive Jesus as your Saviour and The Holy Spirit confirms it as truth. The evidence of the existance of The Holy Spirit is in the love, peace, joy, self-control etc that the christians display towards each other and towards those in need. There is also the periodic revivals that occur like the Laughing Revival of the mid-1990’s. There wont be any discovery of life from other planets. Its not Gods Plan to allow interference in this battle between Jesus Christ and satan here on earth. Creationism is also theory. There has never been since human existence began any proof at all that a god or gods exist or what form such a god takes. Creationism is firmly rooted in the words of one book that is almost as vague as Nostradamian quatrains. Evolutional theory has roots in logic, experimentation, hindsight and foresight. You, as a creationist, are also strictly into theory as there is no physical evidence whatsoever to show god’s existence. Christianity is a young religion. Many religions existed prior to christianity with no less credibility than Christianity. Explain why Christianity is correct and these other religions are not. Once again, your attitude to other religions and their followers completely contradicts your statement that you follow a peaceful religion. Christianity has as violent a history as Islam. The Crusades, the bombing of Abortion clinics, invasion of other countries against their will and numerous others in the name of the Christian god.If life is to be discovered on another planet, whether it be in bacterial form or else, would you renounce you faith? Or would you re-interprate Bible passages to satisfy an explanation?After Researching revelations 9:16 i found at least 12 different translations, many significantly different from each other. It mentions an army of 200 million on horseback. There is nothing to specify where they are from or when they will from. Imagine writing such a passage now in the year 2007 and having people analysing such a thing in the year 2900 and convinced it was about to occur? Ridiculous.
Revelations 16:12 mentions “making way for the kings of the east” but that is all. It does not mention a threat from the east at all. In the context, i really struggle to find anything close to concrete evidence that points to your claims. Perhaps you should remember how different communications were prior to last century, particularly that Church -induced intellectual ‘coma’ that we call the middle ages. Communication was relied upon by different verbal and written word methods, with each storyteller having a bias one way or another. As for Dawkins, he is simply expressing his perspective. he believes, as i do, that a key way to achieve peace on earth is through abolishing religion. This is why he is so feverent and i admit, a ,bit bitter, in addition to having people of much less intellect fail to understand basic concepts and appreciate the lack of logic in their convictions. I appreciate the social work the church does but it is not exclusive to the church. Athiests are driven to help the human race as much as anyone else.At the end of the day, i have many friends who are religious and i love them all and have no reason to criticise their faith because they are happy and content to visit their own church in their own time. A problem with religion is the forcing of it down peoples throats and the clouding of the important barrier between religion and politics. This forces Atheists to speak out for the sake of everybody who doesnt have to follow a particular brand of religion or subscribe to fundamentalist ideals.

I guess Peter you will just have to invite Jesus in and become born-again. Without The Holy Spirit The Word of God can sometimes, to the “fallen, carnal man”, appear to be just a record of old scrolls etc. Why dont we all just sit back and watch as future history unfolds. Wars, earthquakes, famines and disease…all on the increase (Luke chapter 21). Crime soon out of control (2 Timothy 3). The appearance of an ID/marking system for the right hand or forehead which we are not to take by-the-way (Revelation 13:16-18/14:9-11). Its all happening. China is! building for the outward march to Armageddon. She is the lead nation in the asian confederacy army known as “the kings from the east”. Watch what she does later on. PS: I feel sorry for most of the humanists. When it finally clicks that God has been in Control of mans history all along, it is going to be so shattering to many their minds will be blown away. What a waste of a life for you G.Gibson. Seems you have spent so much of it with such a negative outlook. You have by passed all my queries because you have no answer. Did you think about these questions? Or did you conveniently bypass them as any answer or lack of would be detrimental to your arguement? I feel very sorry for you and wish i could have a one-on-one chat with you in a coffee shop so we can discuss this in person. We can then debate a little more realistically.The “fallen carnal man”? Carnal instincts are amongst our strongest and most important of all. Why is carnal activity a sin? Does this mean all living creatures including other mammals, birds and reptiles will all go to hell because sex is one of their primary instincts and they act upon it? Once again, it appears the Bible and religious rules are another by-product of man’s obsession with himself. We are at a molecular level, mammals with quite poor physical abilities compared to many other creatures on the planet.
All creatures have their own advantages and disadvantages over a another. Some can fly. Some can see clearly in the dark. Some can run incredibly fast. Some can hold their breath underwater for days at a time. Human beings have the advantage of a larger and more developed brain which gives us the benefit to design and build more advanced structures and tools, have the ability of foresight and numerous other things. And it gives us greater development of ideas, including the use and perhaps creation of religion to control a human being and his instincts. I guess you asked too many questions Mohawkman for me to fully answer all. Sorry about that. Im pretty burned out these days so I gave the best I could. Carnal behaviour is sin when we scamble over others or lie to obtain our goals. When we pick up porn and defile our bodies. When we get drunk and abuse others. When we lie to cover-up. On and on it goes…such is carnal behaviour. Survival of the fittest is humanist evolution stuff. Its such rubbish to born-again christians. We go to Christ for our needs and He Provides them according to His Will. The whole world is a fallen world this is why animals etc prey on each other. Sadly men too. The original peace and harmony that existed in the Garden at Eden is lost (thus the expression Paradise Lost). It went when Adam and Eve ate the fruit they were told not to. Its not complex. All Holy Spirit christians believe this because The Holy Sprit confirms the truth. Man just doesnt want to admit he is a sinner so he can pleasure around all his days and not have to worry about a Judgment after death. Yet the Judgment comes. I remember a pastor from the US called Mary K. Baxter (shes on the net somewhere). One night Jesus apppeared at the end of her bed and for the next 40 nights He did the same and took her down into the pits of hell each night to show her how real hell was. It has two arms and two legs like a man might with millions of individual pits and in each one there was a spirit and a soul that looked like a skeleton with flames slowly moving up over the body and each skeleton was dressed in rags and most were mentally unstable by this time and constantly calling to God for help. At the end of the 40 nights Mary went out from her house and across America and preached in church after church and many wayward pastors and congregationalists came back to The Lord. Marys revelation is only one of innumerable you can find if you look up Judgment, as are there many about how wonderful Heaven is for the born-againer who knows Jesus Christ because he has recived Jesus Christ. I think WE WOULD ALL do well to allow a little room in our hearts for the truth that the Word of God has for us… a little room to just perhaps believe that God is wrapping up human history and just perhaps we should be open to that fact. Im sorry to have to say it to the reader but there wont be any great, golden planet hopping future with Star Trek starships and anti-gravity cities floating above the earth. NASA is deluded oh so terribly. What the future holds lies entirely within John’s Revelation…the final book of the Holy Bible. Look each day….we kill each other a little more. We crush each other a little more. We fail to govern ourselves a little more. Mans not long for earth thats why we need a Saviour. Praise The Lord…He will be back soon. Irritating e-mails

Following up on my previous post, i wrote a letter of complaint to the NSW State Revenue Office – SDRO and told them in the most polite and comprehensive way i possibly could that i thought the whole situation was absolute crap, and they should at least reduce the total amount i owe them. I got an e-mail back yesterday telling me that “In no way can we can we consider reducing the full amount payable”. No reason why. No feedback on my criticisms. It was obviously the same automated email sent to the thousands of other taxpayers that choose to make a complaint. So, i got a little cranky and sent them back an email threatening possible legal action and – i quote – “A campaign of public pressure to bring these exorbitant charges into line”. As you can tell, i am expecting an email shortly from a real human being.

I also got two emails in quick succession from a lady called Marie about three weeks ago. I have my details registered on a large site dedicated to short-term and long-term accomodation in London. She must have spotted my brief profile. Marie told me that she had an exceptional fully-furnished apartment in Soho. She told me that there was a large room for rent for only 95 pounds per week, which is ridiculous for Soho. In her email she also stated that she wanted to do all she could in her to make sure that i could have the room, as she could tell i was a “lovely person”. How the hell did she know whether i was lovely or not???!!! She also mentioned that i would however need to send 700 pounds as a security deposit. She even told me why i had to send the deposit. I was because of “Issued Property and Contract Law 2002 of London Act on Security and Contract Law”. I emailed back straight away telling her if there was anyway she could prove such a contract law existed. I am still waiting on her reply.

And to top that off, i got a friendly email from my good friend Mable Kabila, a refugee from the Republic of Congo who is seeking shelter in Cote D’ivore (Ivory Coast). Somehow she scored herself 20 million US dollars. How the fuck does a starving refugee in Africa come across this kind of money!! She emailed me to help her set up an Australian account so that she could transfer the cash here. She told me i could take 10% of the loot if i could assist her. So i emailed her the National Australia Bank’s phone number. I await my money…………………………………

Scum of the Earth

I got my 100th ever parking fine today. Probably. I left home at 7am, usually just the right time to leave if i’m going to walk in the office door at 8:45. But this morning, as usual, some moron had a brain snap and rolled into a car on the North Shore. The accident was bad enough for the traffic flow, let alone the 5km backlog of traffic caused by coffee tweaking commuters slowing down to 5km p/h to have a gawk. Because of this, i arrived in North Sydney at about 8:50, which is becoming normal for me now because i am forever cursed to be late to wherever i am going. Because i had a really really crucially important meeting at 9am, i didnt have time to look for a spot in the untimed parking areas where they attempt to monitor your car using Pda’s and chalk on your tyres. I was forced to park at one of the pay-by-the-hour meters near the building, which allows you a maximum 1 hour to park your car. As fate would have it, the meeting ran overtime and i had to bolt downstairs quick as a lion on a turtle. It was 9:55am so i was late to fill up the meter with some more revenue. Even though i’m not religious, i was praying in the lift that i wouldnt have a ticket. Surely in that five minute window i could have got away with it……………………but no! There was a slim little bit of paper under my windscreen wiper. I had lost another $77. The parking nazi who did the deed was nowhere in sight.

According to statistics, North Sydney council earned $6 million last year from parking fines. They have, i am told, gone on a recruitment drive for more parking nazis. This move is a complete disgrace. To add insult to injury, if you were to fight a parking fine, it would be the word of someone who was “just doing their job” versus “someone looking to get out of paying a $77 fine”. At least that’s the mentality of the NSW courts. Apparently if you are to contest a parking fine you are immediatly on the back foot because the parking nazi has no motive to fine you incorrectly. Not to mention the fact that it would probably cost you over $1000 to contest the fine.

Parking for longer than permitted is seen by the NSW government as a very serious offence. So serious as a matter of fact, that you can be stripped of your licence and car registration as a result. This has happened to me twice. Despite a virtually clean driving record for some 8 years, my licence was cancelled until i payed up. Of course, i continued to drive. These pieces of shit were not going to stop me driving over something so trivial. Although i have been hit pretty hard in the hip pocket by these over-zealous nazi fucks i couldnt help but wonder what happens to the pensioner, who gets a fine because he was caught up in the doctor’s waiting room for a few more minutes than expected. A $77 fine for a pensioner, especially a single pensioner, usually means no dinner.

What your car says about you – the real truth this time

Ahhh Back from another day at the Job Factory. I am nice and relaxed after my 2-hour wrestle with every other poor sap who spends over 16 hours a week travelling for the lure of big bucks in Sydney. Because i hate public transport with a passion unimaginable to most, i have driven my way to work for about 2 years now. It’s fantastic, although i drive a manual now, which makes it a little more difficult to change Cd’s, have a smoke and drink my coffee at the same time.

I have been a believer for a long time that the cars people buy reflect how they wish to be seen by others. This has been proven time and time again on my weekly travels. I didn’t come up with this observation but i am a feverent supporter of it. I have drawn up some basic guidelines for the novice:

HOLDEN COMMODORE: This all depends on the age of the car. A pre-1988 Commodore is typically owned by those on welfare. Parts are plentiful and cheap. The cars themselves are cheap due to Holden’s shoddy manufacturing in this period. Anything more recent is either a Government rental or owned by some tosser who thinks if he speeds down the freeway at 180km per hour everyone will get out of his way because they think he is an unmarked cop. And of course, people who drive Holden Commodore’s are often the same people who’s Cd collection consists of nothing but Cold Chisel, AC/DC and the Angels. This, they believe, shows the world that they are a true blue, fair dinkum patriotic Aussie. Never mind that Holden is owned by the American General Motors and not a cent they payed for the car stays in this country (except for the salesman’s commission). Never mind the money they paid for the “Aussie” Cd’s is filtered overseas to the coffers of Sony BMG, Warner Music and Universal.

FORD TERRITORY: This analysis is actually pretty representative of all who drive an SUV. Owners of SUV’s are those that crave constant recognition and attention from people. This is due to a wide-variety of un-diagnosed social phobias. People who drive SUV’s are more likely to not just buy, but show off Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses. They are more likely to buy an overpriced GPS to help them get where they are going. Which is understandable. It’s hard to keep an eye-out for road signs when you are constantly smacking the kids in the back seat. And of course, despite a higher centre of gravity than most cars, they believe that because what they are driving is bigger, then it must be safer. So the road rules don’t exist, because even if they make a mistake THEY will be alright in the event of a crash. And of course some of these cars are so big they obscure everyone else’s field of view. But that’s ok, because at least THEY can see what’s going on. See a pattern here?

NISSAN SKYLINE: Bought by kids (ages 17-25) with too much money and too little sense who cant drive. Owners of Skylines are in a similar catagory to those who own SUVs, except they dont have kids. They wouldn’t be seen in public without the latest top-40 hip-hop singles blasting out of their 700W Twin Turbo charged 85kw high-grade carbon import speakers. Most Skyline drivers are dead not long after they buy them for obvious reasons. They cant drive. And the cars are too powerful. A brand new Twin Turbo Nissan Skyline is a car built for a properly surfaced racing track with an experienced, heavily trained, heavily protected driver. I actually feel sorry for these dudes because all they are trying to do is show off to try to pick up the odd chick here and there. But all they end up doing is either hanging out in Macdonalds carpark’s drinking warm coke until 2am or cracking their heads open on trees at 200km per hour. Such is life.
